Scope and Contents

Charles J. Bushnell was Pacific University's sixth president from the years of 1913-1918. This collection includes Bushnell's correspondence during his presidency at Pacific, Off-prints of academic articles he wrote that were published, and news clippings announcing his intention to teach classes at Pacific and his death in 1960. Also included are Mrs. Olga Bushnell's correspondence and news clippings as well.

Robert Fry Clark was Pacific University's seventh president with a term lasting from 1919-1922. Correspondence in this collection include a range of subjects from Henry Price accepting a position offer from Clark to discussion of the architecture and historical preservation of the university.
