Biography
Marion J. Lewis (Riggs) Durham worked for the U.S. National Parks Service and the U.S. Forest Service, and also had a background in historical research. She was the third-great niece of Oregon pioneer Tabitha Moffatt Brown. Durham gathered family papers connected to Tabitha Brown that had come down through descendants of her direct ancestor, Chester Moffatt, who was Tabitha's brother.
