Gamma Sigma is an independent fraternity that was founded at Pacific University in 1863, which is believed to be the oldest Greek Letter society west of the Mississippi River. This collection was maintained on behalf of Gamma Sigma by its alumnus, Arnold Taylor. It includes correspondence dating back to the 1870s, financial and property reports, meeting minutes from the 1870s-1960s, rosters, photograph albums, clippings and other material.
