Content Description

An invitation from the Gamma Sigma fraternity to the Pacific University faculty dated January 13th, 1873. The meeting was the Public Meeting and the invitation requested all faculty attend, as well as asking for Gamma Sigma members to be excused from classes for the meeting. Gamma Sigma is an independent fraternity that was founded at Pacific University in 1863. Pacific University believes it to be the oldest Greek Letter society west of the Mississippi River.
