Janet Rae Goodrich was a student at Pacific University between 1950-1954 who went on to become a teacher. This collection includes publications and memorabilia she collected related to her experience at Pacific. Materials include: -- Student viewbook for prospective students, 1950; -- Orientation Program, 1950; -- Invitation to new student tea, 1950; -- Convocation Program, 1950; -- Football Programs, including games v. Western Washington Sep 1950, v. Lewis & Clark Homecoming schedule and program Oct 1950, v. Willamette Nov 1950, v. UC Davis 'Shrine Pear Bowl' Nov 1951, and v. Pacific Lutheran Homecoming Oct 1953; -- "Pacific PUP" student directories, 1951 and 1953; -- "Wassail" Christmas Party Program, 1950; -- "Student Body Ticket" cards, 1952-1953; -- Community Christmas music program, 1951; -- Theta Nu Alpha music society ephemera, including: an invitation to 1953 Formal Spring Banquet, a handmade program, and a handmade badge from a charity auction; -- "The Messiah" music program, circa early 1950s; -- May Day "Fantasia" Program (2 copies) and related ephemera, 1954; -- Commencement Program (2 copies) and "Instructions to Candidates", 1954; -- "Heart of Oak" yearbooks, 1953-1954 (1954 issue includes rare dust jacket and is inscribed with messages from classmates); -- "Pageant" magazine offprint featuring Ellis Lucia's article on Boxer, "He's a Riot Wherever He Goes"; -- News clippings and issues of student newspaper "The Index," 1950-1954; -- Brochure raising funds for new gymnasium issued to alumni circa 1960; -- Order of the Eastern Star Forest Grove chapter, 75th Anniversary Program, 1971.
