Includes: 1. The original 1867 Donation Land Grant documenting Elkanah and Mary Walker's holdings in Forest Grove, Oregon. Portions of this land later formed part of Pacific University's campus. -- 2. Hand-colored oversized silver gelatin photograph of the Walker Family home in Forest Grove, circa 1900. -- 3. 1 folder of loose photographs, including albumen print photograph portraits in cabinet card format, probably depicting friends of the Walker Family, circa 1870-1890. People identified in the portraits include Sarah (Sadie) Wells Williams, John Beal, Phil. Beal & wife, and Howard [Arrity?]. Also includes: 3 photographs (silver gelatin?) of the Walker Family home, ca. 1900; a photograph of a garden, ca. 1900; and a hand-drawn "Plan for a home" by Mary F. Walker, 1904. Donated by Betty Thorn, a descendant of Elkanah and Mary Walker.
