Carol B. Pratt (1909-1984) was a Pacific University alum of the class of 1936. He graduated with a Doctor of Optometry degree. Pratt taught optometry at Pacific University from 1945-1974, and later became Professor Emeritus. The folder includes a photocopy of typescript of Pratt's optometry research article "A basic unit applicable to myopic and non-myopic individuals", presented at the American Academy of Optometry, Texas, in 1956.
