Content Description
Used as a plaything for children by a tribe on the northwest coast. Made of heavy reeds and grasses. Has a firm handle of wrapped reeds. 3 1/2" high, 4 1/2" in diameter. One small band of dark brown grass was used for trim. Briefly appraised by Stephanie Craig (Grand Ronde basket weaver), 11/2018: root and stick basket with maidenhair fern overlay.
