Quiver case
Content Description
Case to cover the quiver. Made of black plastic material. 29" long, 2 1/2" in diameter at the base, 3 1/2" in diameter at the top. Separate top is 3 3/8" long and fits snugly on to the long bottom piece. There is a finger guard and some wax inside. From Forest Grove, Oregon. Based on location and donor, it was likely owned by Henry Liberty Bates. Bates (1853-1949) who served as principal of Tualatin Academy and later as a professor of religion and sociology at Pacific University in Forest Grove, Oregon. He retired as the dean emeritus in 1927, and there was a building built in 1923 on the Pacific University main campus named after him.
