Plains decorative tassels

Content Description
Used by the Plains tribes as decoration. Made of blue, yellow, and red beads (the red beads are very rare Cornaline D'Aleppo, old red beads with white centers), small pieces of red wool, rawhide, red yarn, and silver metal cylinders. There are six strips of rawhide (4" long, 1/2" wide, 1/8" deep) covered with blue, yellow, and red beads. At the top of each strip there is a piece of red wool (2/8" by 3/8"). Rawhide is strung through this. At the bottom are two silver cylinders (3/8" by 2/8") and red wool extends through this. All of these strips are tied together at the top with rawhide.
