Victor Atiyeh served as Oregon’s 32nd governor from 1979-1987. This collection documents Atiyeh's activities as Governor, State Senator and State Representative, as well as his business and family life. It includes correspondence, photographs, speeches, reports, audiovisual recordings, press clippings, memorabilia, scrapbooks, and other items relating to both his professional and personal life.

Victor George Atiyeh (1923-) served as Oregon’s 32nd governor from 1979-1987. The collection contains audiovisual materials, awards, correspondence, memorabilia, photographs, press clippings, reports, scrapbooks, speeches, and other materials relating to both his professional and personal life, particularly regarding his time in public office as State Representative, State Senator, and Governor, as well as his post-gubernatorial international consulting business.

Walter Leslie “Les” AuCoin served two terms in the Oregon House of Representatives (1971-1975) and nine terms in the United States House of Representatives from Oregon’s 1st District (1975-1993). The Les AuCoin Papers document his 22 years in public office, and includes speeches, campaign materials, legislative files, media releases, press clippings, photographs, and audiovisual materials.

Gays, lesbians, bisexuals and other Americans acting outside of traditional gender norms have long fought for legal rights in the United States, while conservative groups have opposed them. This collection includes flyers, brochures, programs for Gay Pride parades, and other material related to the AIDS crisis and Gay and Lesbian political history from the 1970s-1990s, with an emphasis on the Pacific Northwest. Both pro- and anti- voices are included.

Political papers of Chuck Riley, a Democratic legislator representing Washington County, Oregon's District 29 in the Oregon State House of Representatives from 2005-2011 and as the Senator for District 15 beginning in 2014.

This collection includes fliers, booklets, programs for Gay Pride parades, and other material related to the AIDS crisis and Gay and Lesbian political history from the 1970s-1990s. These items have been collected by the Pacific University Archives for this collection, with an emphasis on gay and lesbian politics in the Pacific Northwest.
