In the letters, Craig is requesting a doctorate degree from Pacific University due to his work in the Philippines. Also included are documents related to Craig's firing from the University of the Philippines in 1922. Copies of Craig's works and correspondence from other universities regarding honorary doctorate degrees are included as well.
