Content Description
Seven pieces of jade jewelry donated by Timothy Choy, a 1964 Pacific University graduate. Donated items include a Cantonese gold mounted apple greed jade ring acquired in the 1915-early 1920s. It belonged to Choy's grandfather, Reverend Henry D. Lee. A Cantonese gold mounted jades, opals and red stones brooch acquired in the 1915-1920s that belonged to Choy's grandmother, Susan Chun Lee. Set of apple green jade carved rectangular pendants with gold chain and matching pair of earrings with small round apple green jade cabochon discs. These belonged to Choy's mother, Ellen O.I. Choy Craig. A red jade bracelet from Choy's personal collection. A nineteenth century jade rectangular reticulated plaque carving of two human figures with a couple of lingzhi fungus, mounted in silver. A brooch of two green jadeite bi discs set in silver filigree with two silver filigree rosettes, dated late ninteenth or early twentieth centuries.
