Two miniature jade carvings. One is a 20th century carving of a polar bear from Alaskan jade. The other is a 19th century Ching Dynasty white jade piece, known as "mutton fat" jade. This carving is of a monkey holding a peach and is based on the classical Chinese novel in which the monkey god steals the peach, a symbol of longevity.
