George E. Tucker Letterman Sweater
Content Description
A letterman sweater belonging to George E. Tucker (Pacific University Class of 1925). The sweater is black button-up cardigan with three red stripes and a red star on the left sleeve. There is no letter "P" attached to it. Tucker was a 1925 graduate of Pacific University who played baseball and football his sophomore, junior, and senior years. During his senior year he was president of his class and the captain of the football team. He also participated in Alpha Zeta, Phi Alpha Tau Debate, and he was a member of the executive committee for McCormick Hall. This sweater was donated to the Pacific University Archives by his daughter, Geraldine Adkinson, in 2024.
