Content Description

A scrapbook compiled between 1957-1959 documenting the activities of Phi Beta Tau, a fraternity at Pacific University. Contains roughly 150 photographs of fraternity activities including dances, parties, Homecoming skits, Boxer tosses; an issue of the "Phi Bete Alum" newsletter dated Dec. 5, 1959; and several wedding and birth announcements relating to members. The scrapbook is accompanied by several later documents including a letter from the donor, James Sumner, regarding how he obtained the scrapbook and his involvement in the last years of operation of the Phi Beta Tau fraternity house.
