Adams for school superintendent of Cowlitz County. Adams was a Pacific University Alum of the class of 1894, who later worked in the banking field. Adams organized and served as a president of Cornelius State Bank (Cornelius OR), and Citizens National Bank (Vancouver, WA). He also became the president of Vancouver National Bank (Vancouver, WA).
