Walter C. Giersbach (1897-1981) was Pacific University president for the period 1941-1953. His wife, Marion Giersbach (1900-1991), was a curator at the University Museum. The folder includes President Giersbach's Message to the University Community from 1944, a 1949/1950 Report, and a Homecoming Invitation. Also present a Pacific University Bulletin from 1951 commemorating the Centennial of the University, written by Marion Giersbach, a clipping with Marion Giersbach's obituary and other material.
