Content Description
Records of the Community Action organization of Hillsboro, Oregon. Formed in the 1960s during President Johnson's administration, it runs many anti-poverty programs in the county, including Head Start, aid for migrant farmworkers, food, housing and utilities assistance. The collection includes annual reports and plans, records of the Board of Directors, newsletters, documents relating to poverty and partner organizations in Oregon, photographs, videos and other material. Most of the collection dates from after the 1980s.
