Scope and Contents
Correspondence from Reagan and members of his staff and administration. Includes a Dec. 3, 1980 letter from Reagan's Director of Presidential Personnel notifying Atiyeh that he was being considered for a position in the administration, thanks for help with the Reagan campaign, a response to Atiyeh's concerns about the economic recession, and a telegram wishing Atiyeh happy birthday. Also includes a packet of letters from Gov. Atiyeh to Pres. Reagan and to David Stockman, the director of the Office of Management and Budget.

Language of Materials
Collection materials are primarily in English. Some materials relating to Atiyehâs travels and international activities, particularly brochures and press clippings, are in foreign languages, primarily Arabic, Korean, Japanese, and Chinese. Some family materials and correspondence are in Arabic.
Conditions Governing Access
Collection is open for research. One file of materials is currently restricted to protect confidential identification and medical information.
Collection includes sound recordings and moving images on obsolete media to which access may be limited based on playback equipment limitations and preservation concerns.
