HB 2607, Real Estate Consumer Protection Bill, Miscellaneous Materials (4 of 12), 1973–1974
Scope and Contents
Subseries I contains the subject files maintained by AuCoin’s office while he served in the Oregon House of Representatives. The subseries is arranged chronologically by session, with most folders titled according to the House Bill (HB), Senate Bill (SB), or House Joint Resolution (HJR) it covers. Folders contain a mix of notes, press clippings, research, and drafts of bills. While most bills are contained in a single folder, HB 2339, the Railroad Crossing Act, and HB 2607, the Real Estate Consumer Protection Bill, both include over ten folders of materials. The subseries also includes a collection of "Name Files" that contains clippings and other materials about people that AuCoin encountered during his time in Oregon politics.
