Scope and Contents
Correspondence, as well as some event programs and other materials, primarily to, from, or regarding individuals or organizations whose names begin with 'I' or 'J.' Includes correspondence and materials regarding the Ready for School Leaders Panel, letters to and from the Irvington Covenant Community Development Corporation, an invitation to the Emperor of Japan's birthday celebration, correspondence regarding and speaking notes for the 1999 Iranian American Republican National Convention (IARC), and a letter from United States District Judge Robert E. Jones.

Language of Materials
Collection materials are primarily in English. Some materials relating to Atiyehâs travels and international activities, particularly brochures and press clippings, are in foreign languages, primarily Arabic, Korean, Japanese, and Chinese. Some family materials and correspondence are in Arabic.
Conditions Governing Access
Collection is open for research. One file of materials is currently restricted to protect confidential identification and medical information.
Collection includes sound recordings and moving images on obsolete media to which access may be limited based on playback equipment limitations and preservation concerns.
