Scope and Contents
1. Invitations in the form of a hanging sign made from leather and feathers, to the "Governor's Match" for target shooting in Josephine County, 1984 and 1985. 2. Day book schedules, 2010, 2012 (two volumes) 3. "The Atiyeh Brothers: Richard, Victor, and Edward." Compiled by Linda Atiyeh Anderson, 2012. Self-published book of family photographs and history by the Governor's niece. Includes scans of family photographs from the 1880s through the 2010s and important family documents such as immigration forms, letters and telegrams; and anecdotes from the family's history. Collection materials are primarily in English. Some materials relating to Atiyeh’s travels and international activities, particularly brochures and press clippings, are in foreign languages, primarily Arabic, Korean, Japanese, and Chinese. Some family materials and correspondence are in Arabic.
Conditions Governing Access
Collection is open for research. One file of materials is currently restricted to protect confidential identification and medical information.
Collection includes sound recordings and moving images on obsolete media to which access may be limited based on playback equipment limitations and preservation concerns.
