The diaries by James Knox Sears contain short entries for each day of the years of 1909, 1912 and 1913. Most entries are 1-2 sentences long and consist of brief notes about his work, visits to friends and family, and the weather. See also the diary by Laduska Walker Sears, his wife, written before they were married (MS.107). This collection also contains personal correspondence, mortgages, contracts and other financial documents related to Sears.
