Biographical Note
James Henry Sadd was a native of Great Britain who immigrated to Oregon in the 19th century. Born about 1827, he was granted United States citizenship in 1889. He lived in a small unincorporated community named Thatcher in rural Washington Country, Oregon. It was located west of the town of Banks. Sadd died in 1913.
