Content Description
Two pieces of tapa cloth purchased in Hawaii sometime in the mid-twentieth century. One of the tapa clothes is believed to be from the 1840s. The other was most likely made between 1958-1967. The tapa clothes were donated to Pacific University by Bonnie Brunkow Olson. They were purchased by Brunkow Olson's father, Milton Brunkow, while on vacation in Hawaii. Bonnie Brunkow Olson's nephew, Matt Brunkow, was a 2004 Pacific University Alumnus.
