Used to keep time by Dr. Sidney Harper Marsh (1825-1879), the first president of Pacific University. Came from the Marsh estate. Made of silver, glass, and various other metals. Open faced and wound with a key. Three keys are attached with a string to the top of the watch. 2 3/16" diameter. Made by E. Howard & Co. in Boston, Massachusetts.
