Content Description
Used to snuff out the flames of a candle. Owned and used before 1820 by Mr. Nobles in Vernon Center, Minnesota. 6 5/8" long. Rests on three small legs 1/2" long. The snuffing box is 1 9/16" long and 1 1/16" high. It is in two pieces which act like scissors to snuff the flame.
