Content Description
Ambrotype picture of Harvey Scott (1838-1910), the first graduate from Pacific University in 1863. The picture was taken in April, 1863. Picture is 2" by 1 7/16". Case is made of wood, 2 7/8" by 2 7/16", black with a pink velvet lining. The picture is surrounded by pink foil with an elaborate design, a metal frame, and then covered with glass. Enclosed with the picture is a note with Harvey Scott's handwriting stating the date, name of photographer, etc. on Oregonian letterhead paper.
