Content Description
Chinese woman's headdress from the Fuzhou province of China. Three carved silver daggers held together with circular wire; originally real daggers were used as protection when women workers acting as stevedores were the only women allowed on the streets. Daggers are 10" long, wire circle is 4" in diameter.
