Pair of green shoes worn at the Columbian Exposition in Chicago in 1893 to celebrate the 400th anniversary of the landing of Christopher Columbus in America. Made of leather, cloth, and metal taps on the toes and heels. 11 eyelet, laced shoes colored dark green. Very pointed toe down to 1/2". 10 1/2" long, 7 1/8" high. Design of leather on embroidered green cloth on the sides. Green laces.
