Content Description
Bag with steel beads, a metal frame, and silk lining. Used to carry a lady's personal articles and money in the 1900s-1920s. From Terre Haute, Indiana. 8" long, plus a 3 1/2" fringe. Gold colored metal top that opens and to which a double chain is attached. Tan silk lining with a a pocket for the coin purse in gold cloth. Design worked in the gold and silver colored steel beads. Belonged to Mrs. F.N. Shaley, the mother of the donor's wife.
