Chinese scroll from the 18th century during the Ch'ing dynasty. 16" high, 221" long. The artist was CHou Hsun. Polychrome landscape and figures on brown silk ground. Nine luohans, attendants, worshippers, demons, animals, etc. among waves, trees, and hills. Signed: "Painted by Sung Chou Hsun". Two seals of the artist: "Seal of Chou Hsun" and "K'un Lai".
