Hand knitted white linen towel made of flax linen. 1 1/2' by 3'. Has the initials "D. P." written in blue, standing for Deborah Preston. Made in Ohio from flax that was grown on the farm of Joseph Preston approximately 1830, and brought to the Oregon homestead in 1882 by Deborah Preston.
