Content Description
Black silk and lace cape used around the shoulders for warmth. Made of lace, thin China silk, cotton faille, jet black bead trimming in bands and rosettes. Satin ribbon and bows. The lace was sewn to the yoke part over the black silk. High neckline with lace edging the collar. From Indiana. Worn with the green skirt and shoes to the World's Fair in Chicago in 1893 called the World's Columbian Exposition.
