Shawl mad eof cooton and wool. Large square tan shawl with cream design around the edge and tan fringe. Used in Portland, Oregon, in about the 1860s. Belonged to Lavern Pease Parker, mother of George M. Parker, grandmother of Mabel Parker Wills, and great grandmother to Katherine Wills and, the donor, Doris (Wills) Burlingham.
