Bowl made of a calabash shell. Painted. 7" in diameter. From Mexico. Used for food. The bowl is ornately decorated with a red base. Inside the bowl is a scene featuring two large birds, one pink and one blue. On the outside of the bowl there are a few stripes and a pink bird with the word "Chucho", meaning a mutt or a dog, perhaps a nickname, written beneath it encircled by a ring of flowers. The paint on the bottom of the bowl is slightly damaged
