Content Description
Large chop plate from Japan in the mid to late 19th century. Used to serve large quantities of food. 15 1/4" in diameter, only slightly supped. Designs in six sections, Chrysanthemums in between the three on each side. Colors are red, green, black, orange,and gilt. In the center circle is an all over design in medium blue with a bit of pink.
