Content Description
Model of the first log cabin that served as the church and the academy. Made in Gales Creek by George Legler. Made of wood, stones, and putty for the chimney. Wooden dowels were used. 26" long, 14 1/4" wide, 13 3/4" wide. Window with 8 panes of glass on each side, 6" by 3". Door at one end 6". Chimney, 3 1/2" by 2 1/2" on top representing the fireplace that was supposed to be inside.
