Content Description

Used to hunt animals in Oregon. All 24 arrowheads (labeled A-X) are made of obsidian stone. A: 1 13/16" in length, 5/8" width, with stem, stem narrower than body, expanding stem, oblique shoulder (barbed), concave base, one shoulder broken, one-half base broken. B: 1" in length, 3/4" width, with stem, stem narrower than body, expanding stem, oblique shoulder (barbed), straight base. C: 1" in length, 7/16" width, with stem, stem narrower than body, expanding stem, straight lateral shoulder, straight base, part of stem broken. D: 2 1/2" in length, 7/8" width, without stem, leaf-shaped, straight base. E: 1 5/8" length, 1" width, with stem, stem wider than body, concave base, flat on one side, (it's possible that this arrowhead is a different stone). F: 1 3/8" in length, 9/16" width, with stem, stem narrower than body, expanding stem, rounded shoulder, concave base. G: 1 1/16" in length, 3/8" width, with stem, stem narrower than body, expanding stem, oblique shoulder (barbed), concave base, part of base broken. H: 3/4" length, 3/8" width, with stem, stem wider than body, concave base. I: 3 7/8" in length, 1 3/8" width, without stem, diamond shape, bi-pointed. J: 1 7/8" in length, 7/8" width, without stem, leaf-shaped, straight base. K: 2 1/8" in length, 7/8" width, without stem, leaf-shaped, bi-pointed, one end not completed. L: 2 1/4" in length, 3/4" width, without stem, triangular, straight base, one side of base is curved, top broken. M: 1 1/8" in length, 5/8" width, with stem, stem narrower than body, tanged stem, tapering straight lateral shoulder, convex tang, one shoulder broken off. N: 2 1/16" in length, 3/4" width, without stem, leaf-shaped, straight base, base broken off, tip is rounded. O: 1 1/8" in length, 3/4" width, with broken stem, stem narrower than body, parallel-sided stem, oblique shoulder (barbed), possible straight base. P: 2" in length, 7/8" width, with stem, stem narrower than body, parallel-sided stem, oblique shoulder (barbed), concave base, one shoulder not completed. Q: 2 3/8" in length, 7/8" width, without stem, triangular, straight base, possibly chipped. R: 2 1/16" in length, 7/8" width, with stem, stem wider than body, straight base. S: 4" in length, 1 1/4" width, without stem, leaf-shaped, convex base, possible chipped. T: 1 7/8" in length, 7/8" width, tip broken off-other end broken off, without stem, leaf-shaped, bi-pointed. U: 5" in length, 1 1/2" width, with stem, stem narrower than body, expanding stem, rounded shoulder, concave base. V: 1 5/8" in length, 1" width, with stem, stem narrower than body, expanding stem, rounded shoulder, convex base. W: 1 3/8" in length, 5/16" width, with stem, stem narrower than body, expanding stem, rounded shoulder, concave base, one shoulder incomplete. X: 1 5/8" in length, 7/8" width, with stem, stem narrower than body, expanding stem, straight lateral shoulder, straight base, one shoulder broken off.
