The collector, Dr. Tim Choy, was a 1964 graduate of Pacific University with interests in art, travel and philanthropy. This collection includes several thousand stamps and postcards from countries around the world, with particular emphasis on China and other Pacific Rim countries.

Abstract
Pacific University created postcards depicting buildings on campus to gain the attention of prospective students in the early 1900s. This collection contains three of these postcards that belonged to the Jackson family of Gaston, Oregon. Two of the postcards contain handwritten messages that were sent to Mrs. Susie Hatfield Jackson of Silver Bell, Arizona.
