This collection contains Donald Sevetson's research materials collected all over the United States from archives, libraries and historical societies for his book on the life of George H. Atkinson. Atkinson was a Pacific University co-founder and a leader in Oregon's public education system.

The Board of Trustees are a group of volunteers that act as a governing body of the corporation that is Pacific University. The Board of Trustees office records include items owned by individual board members such as board directories and handbooks; and items owned by the office such as financial papers, memos, by-laws, meeting minutes, correspondence and miscellaneous documents.

Ruby Peregrine was an active member of the United Church of Christ in the Portland area and an assistant professor of Religion at Pacific University. The contents of this box belonged to Ruby Peregrine.
