Pacific University 2007 Accreditation Records
This collection consists of records compiled for Pacific University's 2007 Accreditation Review through the Northwest Commission on Colleges and Universities (NWCCU). The material was originally arranged into "Exhibits" which were used as documentary evidence that Pacific University had fulfilled the requirements of accreditation. Thus, the collection is split into sections including Academics, Student Services, Governance, Finances, and so on. Many items within the collection, such as the University's Mission Statement or its Strategic Plan brochure appear multiple times within the collection because they were being used as evidence for multiple parts of the accreditation review.

Pacific University has been formally accredited through the Northwest Commission on Colleges and Universities (NWCCU) since at the least the 1970s. The university was required to submit "Self-Study" documentation for this accreditation review once every ten years, showing how it had met the standards set for universities by the NWCCU. These reviews occured in 1977, 1987, 1997, and so on. Mid-cycle reviews were also done in some of those decades. After the 2007 review, the NWCCU changed to a seven year reporting cycle.
