Abstract

Walter Leslie “Les” AuCoin served two terms in the Oregon House of Representatives (1971-1975) and nine terms in the United States House of Representatives from Oregon’s 1st District (1975-1993). The Les AuCoin Papers document his 22 years in public office, and includes speeches, campaign materials, legislative files, media releases, press clippings, photographs, and audiovisual materials.

Abstract

The Forest Grove News-Times was the principal newspaper in the town of Forest Grove, Oregon, for most of the twentieth century. This collection includes approximately 1,000 photographic prints created by its photographers between the 1960s-1980s, mostly featuring individuals from the community, as well as some local events.

Abstract The Leabo Family of Oregon and California are descendants of Jacob Leabo (1795-1880), who made his first trip to Oregon in 1847. The Leabos settled in Forest Grove, Oregon in the 1860s, where several family members attended Pacific University. In 1919, many members of the Leabo Family began moving to Monrovia, California, where they lived for much of the 20th century. Abstract

A collection of approximately 600 photographs that were created and/or collected by Pacific University's Office of Student Life between 1985-2005. Most of the photographs are casual snapshots of students and events led by their staff.
