Pacific University

Pacific University created postcards depicting buildings on campus to gain the attention of prospective students in the early 1900s. This collection contains three of these postcards that belonged to the Jackson family of Gaston, Oregon. Two of the postcards contain handwritten messages that were sent to Mrs. Susie Hatfield Jackson of Silver Bell, Arizona.

This collection consists of records compiled for Pacific University's 2007 Accreditation Review through the Northwest Commission on Colleges and Universities (NWCCU).

This collection consists of commencement programs and announcements for Pacific University and Tualatin Academy, plus related events such as convocation, freshman exercises and senior honors ceremonies. It includes a nearly complete set of programs from the schools from the 1860s through the 2000s.

The Pacific University Guild was an organization of women supporters of Pacific University that was active from the 1930s-1970s. This collection contains it records, including correspondence, dues records, financial reports, meeting minutes, newsletters and membership lists from throughout the time the club was active.

Pacific University, founded in 1849, has advertised itself through promotional publications since the late 1800s. This collection includes viewbooks, pamphlets, fliers, brochures, postcards, calendars and other material that the university issued in order to attract new students, aid fundraising efforts, and advertise its activities.

Pacific University dates to 1848 in Forest Grove, Oregon. This collection documents its corporate memory and includes materials pertaining to administrative, curricular, and student activities, including minutes, correspondence, brochures, catalogs, reports, newsletters, photographs, and related items.

Scott Hall, formerly called the Harvey Scott Library, opened on the Pacific University campus in Forest Grove, Oregon in 1967. This small collection of material created on campus that year was in a time capsule that was opened 50 years later.
