Pacific University satirical student newspapers collection

Scope and Contents This collection includes five issues of "The Would Be" (1898), one issue of "Wise and Otherwise" (1898?), one issue of "The Battleaxe" (1900) and one issue beginning with the line, "These do not stand for bees in your bonnet" (circa 1900). These illustrated satirical newspapers were produced by Pacific University students between 1898-1900, probably using a mimeograph machine.
